I'm looking for referrals for 8X10 photo duplication houses. I know I can get about 100 copies for about $100, but I've heard stories of 500 for $100 at an outfit in New Orleans or maybe Baton Rouge - does that ring any bells?. Anyone have any good quality, low cost providers that they can recommend? how about lithographs? I welcome your input and opinions... thanks!

Don't know how much they are, but ABC Photos has been the standard for years. http://www.abcphotos.com/ is the URL.

ABC has always worked great for me. Very good prices, I thought.

Yes, I think they're as competitive as anybody. I never hear anybody else mentioned, so they must be doing something right!

thanks everyone for your referrals. I did know about ABC, and i haven't found out anytyhing about the outfit in New Orleans - but I did look back at some previous work my band had done with Producer's and Quantity in Hollywood.

Also, I learned that litho is a bad choice if you want your pics to be reproduced in a newspaper.

for the record, P&Q has a sliding scale depending on number of copies ordered and whether you get color, b&w, glossy or matte - which I think is pretty typical.

I ordered less than 200 and it was $0.42 each. They have a website if you'd like to check out their prices - don't recall what it was, but just search on the name and you should find it... that's how I found it...

thanks!
