OK, this should be pretty simple. I hear a lot of discussion over money. I'd like to start a refference for everyone to compare notes on pay for anyone woking regular gigs. If you have any better ideas on a format for the information feel free. The important thing is the info. I thought there must be more people than myself out there that are curious what other club band are making in different parts of the country. Maybe even some looking for a better paying area to relocate to. The basic elements being:
I'll go first!
Amount per show: $400 Location: South, FL # in Band: 4 Style: Rock Original/cover: Cover Expenses: $0 It's a house gig PA provided by: House PA

We're getting $200 to 250 a gig in the Antelope Valley area of Southern Calif. We split it evenly (5 ways). We've been gigging 3 or 4 months now and hope to turn down lower scale gigs as we establish ourselves.
Our website is at attila.ibmuser.com/aftershox/

6-7 band members Pacific Northwest I do all the booking I set up and operate the PA, although some clubs have PA in place, and for casuals we often hire sound. covers and originals - soul, blues, R&B clubs: $250 - $500 + (may be tied to the door) casuals: $1,400 - $5,000 + Festivals: $200 - $800 + depending on costs PA costs - about $200/gig (if hired out) We split everything evenly, and as long as i can get at least $50/member, I'll take 10% off the top.
