I have upgraded my 101 with a package Grace Design is now offering.
They will both go over the unit and see that all is well inside and upgrade the db from the stock (10db-60db) up to (20db-70db).
If you have power-hungry Sennheiser 441's or ribbon mic's like the AEA R84 you will really appreciate the transformation. The cost is a mere $50 + $10 shipping.
The sound is just as pristine with no signal noise (unless your sending noise) it is quiet.
This is by far the best $50 dollars I have ever spent on a mic pre make over!!!
