Paint? Is the cab covered in something that will hold paint?
I'm guessing with an 8x10 you are playing "loud" gigs, so a loud color is OK. Remember that everytime you bump it, you can scratch off the color (especially if it is a light color). Can you match your guitar (Carvin red guitar - blood red cab)? Can you match your costume?
I prefer black - easy to fix scratches, hides itself in the background (I play smaller places).
My final answer is paint it white, and put beer inside - an 8x10 is a refrigerator
