Okay, here are the lyrics inspired by the bang em' up thread started by DB earlier. NC-17 suggested I start a separate thread with this as a new topic.

These breaks did not line up when I previewed this, so I put the accents for change in bold print... Hanging out with pro music writers, I for one.... hope to learn a few things ( like writing these out properly instead of spelling it out like I did.) Advancing my knowledge in writing music scores is my reason for being here to begin with. If I were the expert, one who does no wrong, I wouldn't be here to advance my skills and seek the collaborative efforts of others.

B // B9 //
A dif ference in o- pin -ion

A// A9 //
Can be a chord that makes a song

B // B9 //
In -ter-pre- ta -tion

A // A9//
Can re-de- fine who's right or wrong

E // E9 // B//
What good is a song without a soul ?

E // E9 // B / B9////
Just start from the heart , then let it flow
A // A9 //
A song is what it says

E ////
in what- ev -er voice it takes;

B//
didn't you know ?

Verse 2 (beginning)

A simple half step

Can change a tone from bright to sad

Move the other way
it changes everything..........

OKAY, I KNOW that I'm throwing everyone off with the ///// marks in the count........ the actual breaks are where I have highlighted the accented syllables in bold lettering. My composition skills are very vague.... I'm the wordy one!

From the looks of your previous posts, you're not exactly an amateur, either.

PS. I really appreciate the effort you put into getting this on here; editing for clear graphic appearance in these posts isn't easy !
(Although, I'm glad we can do it at all!)

I've been looking for it and I'm glad to see your song back on the forum.
You obviously aren't a beginner and shouldn't be so humble. People can learn from you, too !

Wish everyone felt that way!

Okay, here is the hidden URL A Song Is What It Says on my website that has the full song spelled out.... when I get some time to throw a rough copy down to tracks I'll upload an mp3 on to the page. While playing this to set the chord progression, I'm not happy with the way the synthesizer spins off into a hideous tailspin in the closing cadence; it's the one disadvantage of not having extensive formal training. Using these techno instruments; sometimes you get caught up with presets and they won't allow a graceful exit. I know they use fade outs on the repetitious repeats, but that method reminds me of the old "Chicago" days where "Feeling Stronger Every Day" seemed to go on for years before the song ended. While I was able to spend some time in college music courses; one of the most important things that I feel that I learned was music needs to be resolved and needs a proper closure in the ending cadence. You folks can see what you feel and come up with arrangements too....
