i see what you mean. its not so much the tune as the type of synths used sound like (i think) Jean Michel Jarre.
just out of intreast, how much publicity did you have to do to get 12000+ hits on mp3.com?

OK thanks, you heard it!!!
I did a track "in the style of JMJ"
Oxygene Part 4, I dont think itīs criminal 
Itīs just the sounds.
Not too hard work, you have to be at the 40 chart
to get downloads. To be very honest I was starting in a genre with not many track, and I was quite often at the chart. But things have changed at the mp3.com, itīs now much harder to
be noticed.

If the beginning had some latin whispered over it in a female voice it would sound like Enigma... The inverted minor progression reminds me of.....man, what was that song, female Euro-pop song,"All that she wants, is another baby", uhm... The percussion stuff sounds like the rhythm from that All Saints (I think it was)song that was the big hit.. The synth sound on the melody is like a Jarre type thing.
Sounds fine to me, I'm overly critical, in my mind it's "Europop"....
