Hi there! First of all, GREAT boards:)
I Just got an offer to buy this eq for $200 and I wonder if its any good?

For $200 it's a great deal. I have a 1140S which I use on bass quite a bit. TC. Very surgical eq but don't expect lots of added tone. K.

It's not adding very much tone, quite clinical. I've also used it as a bass pre (& synth pre).
There's not a lot of headroom. It is also a quiet unit, like most TC things.

If you don't buy it I will. excelllent eq, very quiet and very neutral sonding, adding little coloring to the tone, just good accurate eq, with plenty of headroom.

I've got a 2240 (4 bands 2 channels) and a 1220 (2 bands 2 channels, no pre). If I found another one I would get in a heartbeat. Love them. As everyone said, it's on the uncoloured side. Real clean.
