i'm preparing for my new ghost to come in this week and am cleaning, clearing and making way for this hog to to come in.... i could not get a good look from any specs that i researched of any pictures of the back of the unit. i am wondering what, if any, connections come out the back, and if i will need to leave room behind my console to get back there for connections and what not. also would the monitor of my computer be to high if it were directly above the board or would i be further ahead to set up my computer to the side? (i would have to build something over the console to set my monitor on if i went that route) thanks

I'm not in my studio now, but as I recall, all the connections (except maybe the power cable) point up. It makes it much easier to move cable around. I got the meter bridge - it helps hide all the cables.

I set my computer monitor on a platform just behind and just higher than the Ghost. I have my keyboard and mouse on a slide out tray under the Ghost (made by Quiklok if I recall). The monitor is higher than the optimal viewing height, but I have everything I need in front of me.

Enjoy the Ghost!

Hi Sad world,

Are you getting a meterbridge with it??

The reason I ask is that as Kid Music says, all the outputs for the whole desk pointdirectly upwards on a flat panel that is maybe a few inches behind whare the console 'falls offf if you see what I mean.

It looks great until all he holes have ugly cables in them and then it just looks a mess.

The meterbridge fits over the rear of the desk but in front of the flat panel and goes a long way to hiding the spaghetti \:D Looks cool as well!

Cheers

Alan.

sadworld,

every connection is on the top of the console..the only one in the back is the power, and maybe the bridge connector..!!!

Kind regards

Peter
