When I insert a MDW EQ in a pro tools channel the EQ rapid acces buttons of my control 24 remain with no light and don't work...
Any ideas?

I have the same problem. It's a real nuisance.

Guys,
I'm terribly sorry you're having trouble with it. We had tested this, and thought that everything was working o.k.
Get in touch with me directly so we can talk about how I can recreate the problem. We'll get right on it.
George

Hi George,
I don't mean to sound like a smartass but recreating the problem on my ProControl is a simple as putting the MDW EQ on a track and seeing that it does not light the EQ button on the top of the channel strip like other EQs do. I also noticed that unlike all my other EQs you can't adjust the MDW EQ parameters with the ProControl without displaying the plugin window on the screen. The original version did not have these problems. I do love how the plugin parameters are laid out on the DSP/Edit assign section ProControl. Simple and intuitive.

Will (et al),
We know...we know. We're still looking to replicate the problem. Please accept my apology for not getting this fixed faster...
Meanwhile, a few questions from Kevin Miller at Digi (a good guy)...
Are you using 6.2.3 and Panther?
[long question about ProTools "catagories" which we think we're doing correctly]
It is possible that something may have changed in the 6.2.3 personality for Control|24. It's not likely, but possible. If it appears that the EQ buttons work for other control surfaces, and it is not working only on Control|24, then I would recommend that the user contact Digidesign Customer Service to report the problem.
The one anomalous item in the user's setup is that they are using OS 10.3.3. Pro Tools 6.2.3 may have been qualified with a version as high as 10.3.2, but I'm sure that it was not qualified with 10.3.3. Pro Tools 6.4 was not qualified with 10.3.3.
Let me know, George

Pro tools 6.4?
Yes, I am using 6.2.3 with 10.3.3, but no problem with other EQ's filterbbank or focusrite...
I will check with 6.2.2 an 10.3.2...

Hi again,
No problem, just keeping the topic active.
I am using 6.2.3 on OS 10.3.2(Panther), not 10.3.3 which is unsupported. I have the problem on a ProControl, not a Control24. All other eq plugins that i have (Waves, URS, Sony, Focusrite) work ok. The original version of MDW EQ did not have this problem.
Hope this info is helpful trracking down the problem.
