Hi,

I would like to bring all my emulator banks and samples into my mac (G4). I've heard it can be done with chickensys translator so I tried to connect my external Emu HD to the scsi chain of my mac. Although I can see the HD in the system profiler (os9 and osx), chickensys doesn't see the HD ?? I also tried to connect the sampler to the scsi chain of the mac : same results.
Is there any other way to do this ?

Thanks,
Daniel

The SCSI chain will allow you to make images of the E4 banks that can be stored/seen in the mac - that (I think) should be your first step, you can use Toast for that.

CD Xtract is the bomb for this-

I moved from the E4 to an Akai Z4 and used the mac as an in-between and Xtract did everything as advertised.

Translator never worked for me-

If you have a PC it is supposed to be fine, but the mac version did not work for me (I will sell it cheap if anyone needs it-)
