Protools HD Clipping?

I was mixing a session in Protools HD and then started getting slight distortion on the song...I could not single out the distortion to any specific track but it was clear that none of the tracks were clipping...After a reboot, the distortion waas gone again but later returned after a couple more plays....Has this happened to anyone?

Which OS and Pro Tools version? Which plug-ins were you using? Impact by any chance?

Vince,
are you using Altiverb by any chance? I am having a problem with Altiverb in OSX where it distorts after a cpu overload. It can be tricky to isolate at first because as you solo each track you hear it without the reverb and hence without the distortion,

OSX.3.2, Protools 6.2.2, I was using AmpFarm, ReverbOne, Sony Oxford EQ, Focusrite D2..
