How can I show track name, album title, artist name on computer software like Windows media player? Is there any specific mastering or CD burning programs for that? I mean, affordable PC software. Or do I have to buy things like sonic solution, pyramix, Sadie,,,, to do that? And I found some CDs show their track name on Sony walkman but not on Windows media player or vice versa. What's up with that?

Some CDs contain text information that was added during the mastering or manufacturing stage - this is what allws CD players to show titles.
Windows Media player uses services such as Gracenote's CDDB to download track/title information anytime your computer is connected to the 'net.

When you create a Windows Media file...you have the option of including things like Title, Author, Copyright...
It is as part of the file metatag.
What are you using to create the Win Media files?
If you are using Win Media Encoder...it is all there for you.

I've had clients ask for this treatment on their CD's- is there any way to encode this information using CD Architect 5.0?
Thanks!

I couldn'get CD Architect to do 'text' - I don't think they're going to support it but I haven't been over the the web site lately.
I've mostly put CD Arch away and use Magix Cleaning Lab ($39) to write my CD's. I don't know if it does text or not.
This Magix product does PQ & Text ($50): http://europe.magix.com/index.php?id=411
I guess we could use that while we're waitin for Sony to do fix CD Architect. Ha Ha

Yes, but which mastering or CD burning programs are doing that. Some small time progects have no budget to go to professional mastering studio. Is there any affordable program?

I'm not talking about Win Media files. When I play commercial audio CDs on Win Media Player, I see all those infos and I want to make those infos available with my own CDR.

AFAIK, there is no way to make WMP see the track info on a custom CDR.
The encoded CDText is only for CD players that display that information - not for WMP.
