Are general feedback loops/noises due to close mic and monitor proximity harmful to the monitor or mic? Thanks!

if it gets REALLY LOUD - yes for the monitor

if is GOES ON FOREVER - perhaps for the mic (depending on what it is)

I once pressed the wrong talkback button and I burned the tweeters of a NS10 pair in less than a second. Few months later a singer did the same thing and burned them again \:\)
