Anybody in here using Opcode's Vision products?
I've been using it for years as my MIDI and I've just purchased an RME Multiface for my audio interface. My plan is to utilize Vision until I can afford a new platform and hardware. Not having done the computer based DAW routine before, I'm a little nervous about setting this whole thing up so any pointers or advice (Things to avoid or consider....) would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Studio Vision Pro was one of my favorite apps, but a move to OSX, and I finaly had to put it to rest.

For hobby use it's probably fine, but I could no longer run my business with unsupported software.

The biggest problem are plugins, it doesn't have support for VST2 plugs, virtually impossible to find VST1 versions. No support for virtual instruments. I still love the sequencer... \:\( sniff.

There is still a small community of SVP users on the Opcode users group at Topica.com

I suggest apps like Logic5/6, and DP3/4, for making the transition from OS9, to OSX.
There are large community of users for support if you have any issues.

$239 will get you the Logic Big Box bundle(OS9 & OSX), $349 and the title page from your SVP manual will get you DP3 or DP4.
