I'm not sure,but I think the only way to do it would be to stripe an empty tape track with SMTE and set PT as a slave and control all playback from the tapre transport,and you'd also need an SMTE converter box.The last time I did something like that was almost 10 years ago,so maybe there are newer methods.The only way you could have PT as master would be some kind of device that could translate control signals from PT to the tape transport I would imagine.Hopefully someone more up to date on that sort of thing can chime in here.
