Absolutely zero bleed? Not to my knowledge.

There are reduced leakage headphones from Fostex and AKG. My Sony V600's aren't too bad. Anything that is closed-ear will provide you with better isolation.

Cheers!

I will 2nd the V600's. These are a great pair of headphones. I've had my pair since the early 90's and have only had to replace the foam once. Very comfortable too. But to totally isolate outside noises???
Not too sure if any headphones can do that, but you won't need the volume on too loud in the 600's to block out outside noise. Just ask my wife \:D

Due to the apparent confusion of the replies, could you clarify your question.

Do you mean a headphone that will not leak the source to an outside microphone?

Or are you talking about noise cancelling headphones?

Still not quite clear, but I will assume that you don't want to hear what the headphones are putting out in the microphone you are recording with. Yes?

To state an obvious thing, leakage is proportional to the volume of the headphone output. You could have no leakage from a headphone with poor sealing properties if the volume is low enough.

My experience has been that Sony MDR7506s do a good job of keeping out the source even at volumes that I would not care to listen to.

But at a certain point, no headphone will be able to fully contain very loud output.

Hope this helps.
