Has anyone had any problems with the upgrade of PTLE to 32(from 24) tracks. I remember some people posting problems that they were having, but that was a while back.

Thanks

If your under 25, you will not get this joke. Hell, if your over 25 you might not get the joke.

I'm using the 64-track upgrade, no problems at all. The new 128-bit floating-point summing bus is amazing

No, not at all! I was just "commenting" some other threads here were people seems to think they can't get anything done on anything less than a SSL.

Seriously, I've used PT LE 32-track on a Mac since it came out (I'm now on HD). I had no problems upgrading, it was very stable and I made 2 complete albums on it. One that is actually selling quite good. In my opinion, it sounds quite good too.

Maybe you should search the DUC (duc.digidesign.com), just to be on the safe side?

Wow,

Try the following link:

Digidesign

As memory serves, the issues some people had revolved around which versions of DAE they should use. The people that were having trouble were recommended to change their version of DAE.

I don't remember the specifics or whether Digi changed the DAE version in the download to reflect that. Also, I believe that there were no additional issues of the 32 track software (other than 6x.)

As suggested above, search the DUC for the thread.

I realize this is likely a joke...but if it ain't it should be known that the Mix and HD systems use a 48 bit mix bus.

So on the digi site, just download the 32 track update and not the daw?

I have heard this before. If I keep my DAW, then my plugs should be OK, right?

Thanks
