Dear Mr.Nichols, please, tell me what are your preferite master plug-ings for PT that give me a sound like analog on Master out. I hear TC Master X and T-Racks. Help me, my clients tell me that I have a good sound but a little thin, digital. Thanks a lot. Stefano Amerio

Making your digital come out sounding analog is kind of a personal taste kind of thing. The tc MasterX works well at compressing the audio kind of like analog tape, you can also try the renaissance compressor from Waves does a good job of adding a little analog flavor. I think you have to find a store that has the plugins working so that you can hear them, or find a way to get ahold of demo versions that you can try before you buy.
If you are dealing with a finished stereo mix, then you have to compress the whole thing. If you are working on mulitrack stuff before it is mixed, then you can try AmpFArm on a guitar or keyboard. Maybe a compressor on the drums or other individual tracks will help.
Just like the recording and songwriting process, there are 1000 ways to do everything. What works for me may not work for you.
You just have to try different things untill you find something that fits your needs.
Roger
