I am sure someone can help with this:
I would like to have LOGIC transports control (via MMC to TASCAM MMC-38) 2 DA-38 tape machines.
LOGIC is set to slave to MTC.
It seems I need to do something in the Environment.....which I am not sure is configured properly - when I installed my MOTU MIDI EXPRESS XT, I set up OMS, and have LOGIC set to "USE OMS". In my Autoload Environment, the layer I am using is "OMS objects", not "MIDI Instruments"......
Can this be done while using OMS? Do I need to set up a DA-38 or MMC-38 environment?
What I would like is to be able to have LOGIC's transports arm any of the 16 tape tracks, start, stop, record, punch-in (if possible), and track/monitor all midi and DA-38 tracks.

I have seen setups where this works (MMC control from Logic) but I am not that up on my Logic Audio stuff. Try the Logic Audio guys, meanwhile I will look into it also, but it might take a few days.

I would recommend that you try http://www.logicuser.net
From there, you can find many links and also newsgroups set up for logic users. I believe you will recieve an answer fairly quick by using this method.
