I post on OJ, Live Sound and Acoustic Guitar forums. Mostly I've been using the search function.
I've noticed their forum software has some features I always wanted at MP, but lacks others I really use a lot here.
Their search function allows me to search by screen name. I search my own name to see the threads I've been posting to and whether anyone has replied. I also used this function in a search for a thread Flemtone posted that had disappeared. After the search failed I realized it must have been yanked. Another that bit the dust because the moderators don't have enough time (so say Scott, one of the mods) to remove only the offending posts. That kinda irked me. We had a good conversation going between idiotic comments by a few of the peanut gallery.
I have to remember to actually go to the thread index for each forum to see if there are new threads I'm interested in reading or contributing to.

I find myself mostly in CoolJam and Acoustic Guitar, with the occasional peek into OJ (like you always slow down to look at a car accident).
Met some pretty good people in CJ, including a friend from NYC that I haven't seen in 37-38 years. Very cool. I just hope he doesn't want to borrow money...
So far, so good. Looking forward to familiar faces from here making a more pronounced presence there.

The merger of KSS and Keyboard Corner membership and practices is going surprisingly smoothly. In fact, the realignment of policies is pretty much finished, with some things going the KC way and others staying the KSS way.
Now we're awaiting the installation of the new bulletin board software while visiting about keyboards, music in general, and the usual off-topic stuff.
In the meantime, many of us are posting both here in The Keyboard Corner (which is staying put with Keyboard magazine contributor Steve Fortner at the helm) and at HC's KSS.

I registered under a new name - got overly spooked I guess. I really didn't want to let them get to third base with my email address, but couldn't find a workaround. I thought I was registered there years ago with a hotmail addr, but my addled mind was probably playing tricks on me again.
I went to to Mac-OS forum and found it moderated and slow-paced with courtesy and justice for all. OJ may be where terrorists go to rekindle their hatred of the infidels or to brush up on rhetoric. Cool Jam seems OK. 'S'all good.
