Not to dissapoint you or anything, but the heavy hitters will probably include their final post count from here in their sig over there, not that I heard anything for sure. \:D

Mats, your English is a heck of a lot better than my Swedish, but the word is, "resemble". "I resemble that remark." \:D (No reason to get mad about it.. English is a really screwed up langauge. )

I was a regular for a while. Maybe more of an irregular regular. Then about a month ago, I realized that I had been spending a lot of time on this forum instead of soldering guitar effects together. I decided that I wouldn't look at this forum again until I finished building the Tube Head preamp that I bought from Paia.

I finally finished the Tube Head today. The little power LED came on when I turned the switch on, but the tubes did not light up or get warm. I'll have to show it to my Electronics Professor on monday to do some troubleshooting.

I was surprised to see the news about SSS moving to HC. Things change when I haven't been here for a while.

I skimed through the last few pages of SSS and am sad to find out that Phait is still having a lot of problems. Phait, if you are reading this, I bet you can still register for classes at your local community college and turn in a FAFSA if you haven't already. It wasn't until late July last year that I turned in my FASFA and registered for classes at the Des Moines Area Community College, and I was still able to start classes in the Fall.

BTW, it feels great to be back. I've been staying away from the forum for a while as a form of delayed gratification. So it feels very gratifying to have that Tube preamp soldered together and to be back here at SSS.

Edit: Of course, I just realized that I'm NOT at the top of the bell curve at all....the lurkers win that one....oh well...I still feel normal.

HC is already on my companies restricted pages list, I'll sign up from home, but since I can't access it from work I'll never be a regular over there. Just hoping enough people hang around the remaining forums here to keep it going, tho with the revamp it may not be the same.
