I am new here. Thsi is my first post, I admit. I Wanted to say hello. I just returned a Casio to my friend, so I am without a keyboard, so I still hope I am welcomed here. I like to play guitar, but I am not a pro at all. I think music gear is great, but I admit I am not very knowledgeable about keyboards, so I came here to learn, and listen.

Welcome welcome, Valerie.
Make yourself at home!
Unfortunately, this group (SSS) and a couple others are going to be dragged kicking and screaming to HarmonyCentral in a few weeks, but other groups will remain here. I imagine we'll all be 'double-dipping' for awhile...
At any rate, glad to have you aboard!
peace, Tim from Jersey

Howdy, Val!
Scroll down the main page about half way. You'll find a *Keyboard Corner* forum waiting for you to make an appearance..

Let's...see...if....I....can...get...out...of....this...pathological....lurking....mode....and...say: Hello there! Another newbie. Hope you don't mind if I post to your thread Valerie. This is actually my very first post to anywhere! I've been faithfully lurking over here few years. Might as well join in. I notice there are going to be some changes around here... HC forum? Is that for Hard Core ? Scary This is going to be intresting.
And thank you Craig Anderton for all the vast material I have enjoyed among the years. Like guerilla recording tactics, how to back up and how to make purrfect samples ( from top of my head ). Not to mention the Emax II manual. Wait! Does that mean I have Emax II somewhere?? Now excuse me I need to "raid" one particular basement full of old crap, I mean valuable synth/midi gear that is. (Well some guitar gear there too and recording gear and my old bass and ... oh nevermind. )
See ya

Hi Valerie and Kataja, and welcome.Unfortunately this section of the forum won't be around long, but the Keyboard and other sections will.As punishment for being unruly, the members of this section are being forced to join the kiss Army ,otherwise known as the dreaded Harmony Central Forums as of next week sometime.

Already welcomed you on another thread, Val. Hadn't seen this one. Hope you stick around, however this change pans out.
How long have you been lurking, Kataja? (Just figuring out how much embarrassing stuff you've witnessed here. ) Welcome to the posting masses!

Thanks everybody !
I'm resident of Helsinki on the south coast of Finland. Bob Freebird? Oh I see, found his old thread on the archive by accident. Yes some fellow Finns around here. Embarrassing stuff ? Fantasticsound ? Hey aren't you the guy that..... just joking Probably discovered this place in 2001 or '02, but wasn't that regular guest back then. Actually I've visited HC forums once in a while too. Hence the notion of this move being intresting, oh so it's spelled intEresting. This language stuff makes my brain hurt.
Guess I should register at the HC too... Or maybe this hot summer weather just messed up my head and I better shut up now. On the other hand the mistake of reading that seismology thread probably drove my innocent mind over the edge anyway
