I hope many of you will join in from all around the world today at noon in the 2 mins silence in respect of all those people who perished in London last Thursday.
Brits have been asked to leave their homes, offices, shops etc and stand outside and observe this silence to show solidarity and difiance and I will be doing just that and hope many people will also do the same.
Lets all join together and show these arsewipes we are not afraid and please also free to write here all your condolence messages as I will be sending these on in printed form to the City Hall in London to be included in the book of condolence opened there on Monday.

As 12 noon is 7 am here, and I'll probably be asleep...I'll wait until noon local time.

Good idea. Thanks for the heads up, Shars...

1200 GMT is 0400 out here... but that's only in 25 minutes and I'll still be up and about... so I'll participate at the same time as London.

You're in our hearts and prayers London, and we on the other side of the pond grieve along with you. I know that the redoubtable spirit of your people will carry you through this difficult time with the grace, determination and resolve that you are so rightly known for. God bless you all.

Thanks for letting us know Shars.

BTW - Ted, Noon GMT is 6am in Kansas City. You guys are on CST. ;\)

Still, I guess I just missed it. But our thoughts are with all our British friends, their families and the entirety of the country.

This took place at 12 Noon, GMT British Summer Time, which is GMT+1. GMT does not change.

GMT does not change.

This says it all. London, like GMT, will not change today. Nor tomorrow. Never will the stalwart ideal of London, and the Free World, be intimidated to appeasement of terrorists. They are relics of a forgotten time.

London, today and forever, is what time will remember.
