Hello, Gentle Giant...
Welcome to the forum. I take it you're a fan of the old band Gentle Giant.
Just to let you know, there's a specific thread here to post your work. Perhaps some helpful person can dig it up and bump it to the top. And perhaps, if we ask really nicely, perhaps our moderator, Craig, and administrator, Jim, can make it a permanent "sticky" on this thread, so it'll always be at the top
Meanwhile, please check out Phil O'Keefe's "Project Studio Forum" (further down the page). Phil has just such a "sticky" posted at the top of his forum.
Again, welcome! And if you're in Sweden, watch out for that Mats Olsson guy (OH, hey Mats, didn't see you standing behind me)....

Not too bad for a "not so god" I actually thought it sounded quite good- as an instrumental. You mentioned recording a vocal track for the song later this week- I think you will find that the way this song is mixed right now will present a challenge when you try to get a vocal track to fit in well.
This may be a blessing in disguise- laying in the vocal may force you to make some mixing decisions that will end up improving the entire production. I'd like to hear the end result...

Sounds good, man! You really went for details, and played the guitar well within Blackmore's style while showing your own style too. Well done!
I did something like it on a Fostex 4-track cassette unit a few years ago: CLICK HERE
I didn't go to the level of detail you went for, either in playing or in mixing. I just wanted enough to demonstrate something to a friend of mine. I played all the instruments (no sequencers) which were all first or second takes, and sang (badly lol).

Do you know how to add an avatar in your profile page? BTW, GG was and still is my favorite prog rock band.

Aslo on the forums here is Bruce Sweiden who is also a Viking. I do not know where his ties are in Sweden though... I've just noticed he's mentioned Sweden a time or two.

Very Nice GG! Did you play all of these instruments yourself or do you have a full band?
