Point taken dcr and it's a good one! We rarely do stickies on this forum but I think this one needs to be (with the bumps edited out). I don;t have a better option than to keep bumping it.
It's not as if most people don't have the imagination to scroll back past the bumps to the good stuff. And better endless bumps here then endless bumps on the original threads. If you think of the ratio of bumps (in this) to proper posts in the linked threads altogether I think bumping this serves its purpose.
I don't want to turn this thread into a debate about bumping though so maybe we should start a separate thread for a debate about sticky threads/bumping etc. or PM each other.
Of course, if we had a proper search engine, none of this would be necessary.
OK, I promise not to bump any more threads until next year!
