Haven't heard from her in a while. But I'm confident she's doing well. She seems like a good kid with her head on straight. Last thing I remember reading from her was she was becoming quite proficient on bass and guitar and getting quite busy with all sorts of music groups.

I'm sure we'll read about her someday soon as being a member of the next supergroup.

Or maybe she'll be a doctor or an astronaut. ;\)

The kids never seem to stick around. Short attention spans or more attractive diversions. Greenboy hit his 10,000 post count and punched out. I've heard he's over at talkbass.

There are lots of missing people. I've left a forum where I was a major contributor before - just different priorities.

I miss Maisie.

I think she always had spells where she posted frequently alternated with longish spells where she was not around though.

I believe all us guys have absolutely no idea the complexities in the life of a teenage girl. I raised two of them and they're still a puzzlement.

I know she was having some family issues, and I truly hope things have worked out for the best. Being a teen has never been easy, and it gets harder every year. I noticed vast differences between when my oldest and youngest daughters (27 and 19, respectively) were going thru their 'formative years' - changing priorities, more peer pressure, vastly more academic pressure, etc.

Keep your chin up, Maisie - it gets better. Really.

He'd likely just tell you how much he loves his rig and how loud it is. Then post a picture of it.

Not sure how I came across this thread...bit of serendipity...but Maisie seems to be doing well. I talk to her online occasionally since she's one of the only bass players I know (if only online) here in MA since I moved up.

Last I heard from ATM, I think he found himself a little woman and a motorcycle and began settling down. That was a while ago, though.

The last I heard from bottle12am he was going for another Dr. visit or surgery for his pancreatitis. We PM'ed for awhile and things weren't going so well for him. That was right before he quit posting. I hope everything's alright with him.

Hey davio, haven't heard from you in awhile. How's life in MA.?

Hi maise, hope life is going well for you.

Well, I went for an extended period before moving without internet access and shortly after moving my hard drive crashed. I'm able to use my fiancee's laptop occationally (especially now that she's got a break between semesters) so I figured I'd check in.

Life is good (other than not having a working computer of my own) and I'll leave it at that so I don't hijack the thread. I'll tell Maisie she should hop on the forum next time I talk to her.

I get bored at work and you're much more interesting to talk to than the people I work with...it comes with the territory of working for a bank.
