Wow! The boys were in fine form last night. Played for 2 1/2 hours. They came out and did a killer electric set, and the second set was comprised mostly of acoustic based tunes, and solo pieces by each member. Stanley's solo on acoustic was a real jaw dropper. Chick and Al did some amazing interplay on a few solos during the night, with Chick ripping on his Moog (gotta get one!). Lenny White's kit sounded like thunder, and he is a master at understated playing when necessary. The 2 high points for me were Song To The Pharoah Kings, and Duel Of The Jester And The Tyrant. Unbelievable. The only negatives were Stanley's bass sound was muddy for the electric tunes, and Chick was louder than everyone else, all the time. Catch 'em if you can!
