My neibourgh just came over saying that I was playing too loud, I was in fact, but mostly is because the sound goes straight into his house, underneath mine, and no matter how low you play, you can alway here some effect of the bass on the house structure.
To clarify i'm using a Warwick Blue Cab 30w 1x10
I'm thinking on either spend the cash on one of these
http://www.auralex.com/sound_isolation_gramma/sound_isolation_gramma.asp
or some good headphones.
Did anyone had an experience with the grama?

Yeah, I've got one. You can borrow it if you like and try it.
However, it is about isolating the bassamp from the floor. I'm not convinced it will be enough to satisfy your neighbour. But hey, it's a fair offer. One can only try!

I had one and sold it. It turns out that I like the sound of the bass speaker coupling with the floor better than I like the sound of the speaker off the floor.
From a distance, it didn't seem to make much difference.
It would probably help the situation with the neighbors. A very small practice amp would probably help more.

Your best option is headphones. If you have a downstairs neighbor that is already upset, isolating the bass vibration is almost impossible. Rocky

Yeah I guess Headphones is my option, I'm getting a pair of wireless headphones so I can play when I'm watching telly and do not disturb my little lady.
Davo thanks for the offer, you are very kind.

When I moved into an upstairs maissonette, I still had a peavey 200 watt combo which was playing up on me.(It was also too bulky for the stairs)
I decided to trade it in for a Kustom KBA 16 (yep 16 watts!) The kustom is a great combo, even for 5 string! It sounds louder than it should. It also has socket for cd to play along to, and headphone socket.
I got a great deal from Turnkey(r.i.p.) whren I got my Behringer v-amp pro. They recommended SennheiserHD433-AWESOME! I place Kustom combo ontop of my main combo(eden nemesis nc-250), as I live upstairs.
If you live downstairs , then I would recommend small combo placed on floor. If you live upstairs, then maybe the above should help.

I used to live in multi-family housing. I hated keeping the volume down on everything - amp, stereo, tv - so I bought a house.
Not the cheapest solution, but now I can do what I want and Grace has a backyard to play in - bonus.

I'd certainly look at raising the amp off the floor - and maybe even a smaller amp.
Personally, I don't like practising with headphones. I know some people do - but I feel so isolated when I do. I don't like it.
If you like the Blue cab 30 - check out the 1x8 Blue Cab 15. Less volume and same lovely tone. I have a Blue Cab 20 (the predecessor to your Blue cab 30) and a Blue Cab 15. They're both lovely, the Blue Cab 15 is just not as loud.
In fact with my Blue Cab 15 I practice until all hours of the night whilst my two very young kids are sleeping in their bedrooms down the hall not more than about 12 metres or so away. I can have it turned down low enough with the Blue Cab 15 that it doesn't wake anyone - yet it still sounds good.

Certainly a viable solution (I did the same thing; the dogs were getting rammy), but for a lot of our friends in large metro areas and in large parts of Europe, I don't think it's an option.
One could hang that combo from a ceiling and the neighbors would still kvetch. Building materials typically have a natural frequency that is very low and serves to make things worse.
Yep. Headphones would be about right.

I really couldn't imagine having neighbours above and below me. It'd drive me up the walls if I could only practice my bass through headphones...
I guess that's the price of living in a big city.
We're in a big city, but live on the north eastern fringe of Melbourne. Quite rural out this way.
I have to drive for 45 minutes to get into the city though.....that's the price I pay for space I guess.

No easy solution. London is very expensive. If you live out in the sticks, which is only marginally cheaper, then public transport costs rack up. Welcome to London David:)

Yes I've heard a little about the cost of living in London.
Whew!
And we sometimes think we get it tough!

I live out in the sticks, and the prices are crazy here too, but my main problem is that I leave in a flat.
Is not that I can't use the amp, I can and he will be fine with it, I just think headphones would be better.
my neibourgh son, is learning the piano, and I keep earing the Pink Panther at random times, but I think it would be better if I have the headphones.
When I eventually buy my own place, I'll buy something with room to do a practice area and padd it all up.

I'm glad I'm on the ground floor. I have neighbours upstairs. I practise mostly unplugged but also some headphone and ABG stuff. I do play through my rig at low volume but I probably couldn't if I had people below me. I take advantage when my neighbours are out to play louder.

I live upstairs, which I prefer. I have a piano teacher as my next door neighbour. She's nice enough, some of the tunes are okay. I hate the taichovsky stuff tho'. She plays daytime only. I count my blessings

When I used to live in an apartment (2nd floor) my downstairs neighbor would always complain to the superintendant that she always heard us walking...
