I have this very important gig today and I’m with only 2,5 weeks with my JV in hands…still learning how to program it…
I want to control the JV patch volume using the modulation (Y axe from my triton)…
Any tips?
Thanks in advance!!!

Not to be abrupt, but your gig is today, so no time for pleasantries.

Read p.80 of the manual, that tells you how to do pretty much exactly what you're trying to do.

Yes, but I continue to cling to hope that it will happen... ;\)

(that, and the fact that I haven't set up my PayPal account to accept credit card transactions for doing other peoples' work for them.... )

I believe MusicWorkz may have been implying that it's a Roland manual we're talking about...

Kank, I am not too hard on manuals. RolaYamaKorg? They all were/are useable for all but the most advanced functionality-something always seems to get lost in the sauce. The worst of the lot for me was Novation...

I would use your Triton for the gig. All the best.

Awwww, where's your sense of adventure? ;\)

Seriously, one quick look at p.80 of the manual should be enough to get any semi-experienced keyboardist up and running for this...

Sven, you would be fine adjusting the controllers, setting a new set of levels, double-checking your patchlists, and committing what is needed to muscle memory on the day of the gig.

With all due respect to the OP, based on the OP's post, the OP will not. IMO. \:\)

Yeah, valid points, Tusker. Hard to argue with your reasoning. \:\)

Thanks for the props, though. \:D
