Hi. This is my first post here, and I'm looking for some info. (I'm not a troll..lol). I entered a charity raffle this Wednesday, before the Pearl Jam concert in Tampa,Florida and won a Bass Player magazine, dated April 1994. Its never been viewed and is in a sealed clear plastic cover. The cover has a typed label "M-BAPL-1994-04-00-008134 FINE"

Is there a demand for this item amongst collectors or bass players? I'm not sure why it was raffled off, unless it is of some value to someone.

Any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Lowdown. Stick around.

One issue of that magazine would be of interest to a collector who was trying to get a complete set and somehow was missing that issue or to a rabid Pearl Jam/Jeff Ament fan.

Put it up on eBay with a $50 reserve and see what happens. $;\)$

You could post this question on the Editor's forum, or whatever it's called. I don't go there often.

For now, I would keep it sealed (N.R.F.P.* is higher value amongst collectors, assuming it's worth something) and see what gives

I wouldn't have thought about the 'missing issue' to a complete set, for the collector. I may just hold onto it for awhile. Add to my other Pearl Jam collector's items.
