I've had this unit for about eight months. It is in excellent cosmetic shape.
There is a small, light scratch on the front panel (visible in the pictures below under the modulation section).
The low "F" key is also slightly more depressed than the other keys (I tried valium, it didn't work). This is also visible in a picture below.
The oscillators are all in tune. However:
They don't all output at the same volume. Four of the oscillators sound "quiet" while one sounds slightly "loud." The other three are (I assume) outputting at normal volume. This is even more clear through the right channel than it is the left (the volumes are closer to parity through the left than the right).
Otherwise, AFAICT, all features are working as they should. I created and saved a patch or two, played with all the "page one" parameters, used the arpeggiator, and it's all functional.
There is no MIDI retrofit on this board.
If anyone is interested I can hook it up to the computer and record the outputs so you can hear the difference between oscillators. For now, here are pictures of the OB-8. I'm asking $2000 plus shipping, though reasonable offers will be entertained.
ETA: I'm in Burlington, VT. I'm willing to hand-deliver (or meet half way, depending on the distance) for anyone in the New England area.
