Okay, this is kind of trivial. In last Sunday's NY Times Crossword the clue is "Rock Guitarist formerly married to Goldie Hawn." Now if I were any better at crossword puzzles I might have something more than this and the second letter being an "I". But that's all I got. I have never even come close to finishing a NY Times crossword but now I am just plain curious!

Yup... Bill Hudson -- hence her daughter's surname. Interesting that the clue was "Rock Guitarist"...

Thanks, guys! Yeah, Bill Hudson isn't exactly the first name that came to mind when I was trying to think of a rock guitarist!

All I know about the Hudson Bros. is from a song on a K-Tel album that I still have, and from their brief 70's Saturday morning tv show that I saw maybe twice!

Interesting you should mention the NY Times weekly crossword puzzle. My mother-in-law used to (she died three years ago come Thanksgiving) do it every week... and complete it every week... usually on Sunday!!

Me? I'm a notoriously poor crossword puzzler. I don't even bother with the drugstore variety "easy" ones.


PS: Oh, and the... WHO... brothers?
