A friend of mine at work (John) who is in a really good band called “Household Pest” wanted to come to our gig Saturday at The Flipside but due to a prior commitment couldn’t get there. I saw him today at work and first thing he said to me was, “I heard your gig went great!” I asked him how he heard and he told me that Sunday at The Pelican’s Nest (another band supporting place), he saw somebody he knew that said he was there and told John that there was one really good band that was the last one of the night called Squirrels in Traffic!! He said our Tull stuff was especially standout…!! Actually, we were the only band to get an encore call... How ‘bout THAT!! \:\) Of the 8 bands that played, we were the ones who stood out to him!! WOO-HOO!!! \:\) Remember, we're total rookies at this...

Outstanding! Yes, it is always a great feeling to get compliments - especially since it was through someone else like that who didn't see your show but actually heard about it!

Uh-oh: word is getting out. Next there will be a black van parked across the street from your house at all hours. They must stop you before word spreads too far and you get more gigs than anyone else in the area.

Very cool, Boggs. Is sure feels good to know that the effort you put in is worth it. Especially to hear it from someone thru someone else.

We are adding boatloads of new stuff and really fed off of the weekend success at rehearsal tonight. It is amazing what a confidence builder this was! \:D
