Pretty cool show. I didn't really care for two of the opening acts, but the DT set was a lot of fun. The acoustics of Hard Rock live are also very good, so their sound was excellent.
I've seen them 2 times. One of the most technically accurate bands I've ever hear other than Rush. On my Rush R30 DVD on the extras, Geddy Lee and Alex are asked "what's the best rock band out there today?". In unison both of them say "Dream Theatre" "they are Rush to the 100th power". Coming from their lips is a pretty huge complement. Not to mention that Mike Portnoy was inducted into the Drummers Hall of Fame at the age of 35. I don't think I've ever seen a band change time signatures 5 times in 7 measures so flawlessly. Anyone who has never seen them. I suggest you do anything (except sell a guitar) to see one of their shows. You will walk away in awe.
