I just found out from my guitar player that our band made it as one of the finalists in the Doug FM competition for 2008! It's a promotion by a local radio station here in Michigan. First prize is to warm up for Stevie Nicks and Boston. I'm rather pumped!
We were in it last year and we didn't win. I really don't expect to win it this year, but hey, it'll be fun. Hopefully we'll at least get some work out of it.  Competition is this Friday.

Ugh! Well we didn't win. I for some reason was real nervous and blew a note that was pretty obvious. It was still fun and there's always next year.
