Does anyone own one? I found the three humbuckers very intriguing and I'm into Epiphones. (danger will robinson! upcoming GAS attack!)

I was wondering, does anyone know if the 3-way switch could be changed for a 6-way? The 3-way doesn't really give too many options, and I thought that a rotary switch might do the trick. I know the Jimmy Page sig model has a special 6-way switch but I think that it's only for that particular model, and not available anywhere else.

Could a rotary switch fit in an LP?

Also, I would want to swap out the pups for Seymour Duncan 59s, but which would a second bridge or neck go into the middle?

I have an Artisan, which is basically the same guitar. The switch cavity is narrow and requires a straight spring-leaf switch, but a small rotary might fit. Find one that does before unsoldering anything. With 3 PU wires coming into the cavity plus the switch, I can tell you there's not much wiggle room for mods. The minute you break the factory solder joints or change out original parts, you devalue the guitar.

IIRC, the front 2 PUs are standard and the bridge is high output. So the middle would be the same type as the neck PU.

Best, Paul
