The article doesn't mention it, but there's a documentary about Robert Johnson and the mystery surrounding his death. If I remember right, Honeyboy was there, and saw him in his final agony. He also talked about how he traveled around with RJ quite a bit. Honeyboy is the Real Deal.

John Hammond interviews not only Honeyboy, but some of RJ's old girlfriends and others who lived in the area where he died and heard the stories first-hand. Well worth the 10 bucks! I actually saw it on the Ovation arts and entertainment cable channel.

Again, it's been a while, but I think HB and RJ rolled into town together, had only been there a couple of days, and RJ started messing with this married girl. HB wasn't there when RJ drank the supposedly poisoned drink, but did see him later on.
