Part-timer, have you tried looking at your own posts to look for it? What was the thread about, if I may ask?
Geoff, I've hit "go" instead of "submit" plenty of times. Sometimes I get lucky and realize that's what happened before losing the information in my browser. Firefox allows me to go back and hit submit before it's too late.

Right! and many times I have hit Submit and the post just does not go through, could be my wireless link, or my server is busy, or the MP server is busy. I've gotten in the habit of waiting to see if the post had actually gotten on the server,if not I hit the back button and repost it.
That used to drive me crazy when I posted from home on dial up! Before Firefox I was just as verbose as I am now, maybe more so, and losing a post to a server error or failure of my computer to communicate to the forum server meant I lost several novellas.
I tried making a habit of selecting the entire reply and hitting, "Ctrl + C", just in case, but I never could seem to remember to do it when replying to something I was particularly passionate about. Of course, those were the longest posts, too! (Several times having a lost post helped me realize I should've thought twice about what I wrote... It helped me dodge a bullet more than a few times where I'd have only put my foot in my mouth! )

Yea, that was it. It was informative and accurate. Checking other posts, this member had over 1000 posts. He must of torked off someone. It must have been deleted as the post I read when I joined were pretty good stuff.
Yikes, I did a search and he doesn't exist anymore.
Last comments from me about it as I don't plan on going the way of Homo Erectus. (Hmmm now that sounds like light porn)
There was a thread where a former member was being inquired about.... Maybe it was about puttin' Zubes...er, ah, I mean Tubes in an amp?
