I have to say that I learn alot from this forum and it isn't all necessarily in the realm of guitar playing. It's amazing the
humanity that springs out from this board especially from people that I have never met. There is generally a level of civility and maturity here that you don't find on other message boards.
Fortunately, there is also a level of fun that for me makes it a place that I want to check regardless of whether there's anything interesting to read.
You pointed out correctly that there is some snobbery exhibited by some. People can dismiss what I say, I'm at an age where it doesn't really bother me, I'm confident in what I know.
I've been a subscriber to GP and a gigging musician for over 25 years. That being said, I am always open to learning something new every day from novice to professional.
I believe that the
Mods Bluesape and A-String really hold this forum together and make it a great place not only with their moderator duties but also with their contributions as well.
