Wow... Who is that a quote from?

"we endorse that which we acknowledge"

No truer or more resonant words can apply to this. ;\)

I have to say that I learn alot from this forum and it isn't all necessarily in the realm of guitar playing. It's amazing the
humanity that springs out from this board especially from people that I have never met. There is generally a level of civility and maturity here that you don't find on other message boards.
Fortunately, there is also a level of fun that for me makes it a place that I want to check regardless of whether there's anything interesting to read.
You pointed out correctly that there is some snobbery exhibited by some. People can dismiss what I say, I'm at an age where it doesn't really bother me, I'm confident in what I know.
I've been a subscriber to GP and a gigging musician for over 25 years. That being said, I am always open to learning something new every day from novice to professional.

I believe that the Mods Bluesape and A-String really hold this forum together and make it a great place not only with their moderator duties but also with their contributions as well.

The preamble is of course Babe's Arthur Hoggett.. the rest is Shoes, perhaps by way of Marshall McLaughlin though I've never actually read McLaughlin.

& Yes.. hats off to the Mods here!
They do a great job of keeping this place constructive, entertaining and open for business.

Yes, it's true that some of us suffer from "logorrhea" on occasion! Hopefully it's not contagious.
