Crappy video, poor quality, amazing song and playing. And, just look at Leslie's face when he starts his lead......
Leslie West, Les Paul Jr., stacks da jour.......
.......I feel better now.

Seriously, how cool were they!! Great everything. LW could be playing a Gretch White Falcon(highly unlikely), and it'd still look like a ukulele on him. Good thread, Doc. Occasionally we need a little jolt of real.
Best, Paul

OK, who's gonna be the brave soul that registers here http://lesliewestmtn.proboards54.com/index.cgi and asks LW what he used to get that signature sound? Personally I loved it, but don't really care about how he got it . Just assumed it was a crap-load of Marshalls on 11. Best, Paul
Yea Paul!! I grew up on Long Island, and used to hear stories about Leslie in the studio....one story that was prevalent was that Leslie used to have like four Marshall full stacks, all dimed. Supposedly the studio guys would set all the levels, hit record, and LEAVE THE STUDIO to protect their ears!!
I also really really liked his voice, too.
