Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to buy a new amp so I'm selling my 2 present amps.

They're great amps and I've put all new Eminence Copperhead 4/10's in the Fender Concert Reverb and completely retubed the Carvin Nomad 1/12 with JJ's blues tubes.

I bought both amps new and they have never even been in a club, only my home studio.

There's not a scratch on either of them and they are in perfect condition.

The Fender has tilt back legs, is about 4 or so years old, is all tube to include tube reverb & tremolo and has a custom Fender cover as well.

The Carvin is over a year old and came with a Celestion Vintage-30.

So tell me, what do you think I should ask or should get for those two amps?

I've been asking $825 for the Fender and $399 for the Carvin.

Thanks in advance.

Randy

As far as I know, on eBay, some people just have regular auctions or have a "buy now" option at half the price you paid for it.

But, if you advertise the upgrades you made, then selling for a bit more would be understandable.

Hit eBay and see what everyone else is getting....that's about the most you can hope to get...IMO...as people are using eBay as a price guide more and more these days...whether they sell/buy on eBay or not.

Yep, here's one but it's got the stock speakers in it.
I put $240 worth of great speakers in mine.
It's also got the accessories with it as well.

Randy......Book on your Concert Reverb (Pro Tube Series) Amp is between $700 and $875. It's hard to know if the speaker upgrades will significantly increase what you can expect for the amp. I'm not sure about the value of the Carvin.

Watching eBay is valid only if you can really watch it over a period of time. Individual sales may go low or high. Watching sales over a period of time would be helpful, IF you can.

Good luck with the sales.

Thanks for the info, that helps.

Yep, these 2 amps are in pristine condition, inside and out.

I had a guy call last night thinking it was a Point to Point Concert Reverb.
I said Geez dewd, you want to spend some money, cause that amp wouldn't cost what I'm asking for this one. \:D

If you are logged in on eBay, you can search all the completed auctions with similar items. Unless it's a rarely sold item or the prices fluctuate greatly over time, you'll quickly get an idea of how much you can get.
