Hi All,
I am building my dedicated listening room (28 by 21 by 11) The front wall, side wall and ceiling I covered up will 4inch 705 and all the back wall with 6inch 705 and cover the rockwool with fabric (burlap).
I am still building the diffuser for the back wall but not finish yet.
Today I play my system (I am using floor stand speaker) and measure the freq response.
now the problem, the low freq bellow 63hz are roll off. why? I have tried to move the speaker posisiton and also move the seating posisition but still the same.
thank you for your kind attention'
regards

Thanks for moving this to my forum.
The graph you send me by email was measured in third octaves, and that's not useful for measuring the bass response in a room. Further, without knowing what speakers you have, maybe the speakers themselves don't go low enough?
My best advice is to find out the specs of your speakers, then measure your room with ETF (Windows) or Fuzzmeasure (Mac), or the freeware Room EQ Wizard program.

If your speakers are -3 dB at 29 Hz, and your response is much worse than that at the listening position, this tells me the room is the problem. It's tough to get effective bass trapping below 60 Hz, so I suggest you try different loudspeaker and listener placements. Your room is pretty large, so you should follow the basic guideline shown here:

Do you have a subwoofer also? Have you verified the speakers are wired properly? One speaker might be out of phase.
