Hey guys, I understand what the trussrod does, and all that but, does anyone know the average weight of tension on an Electric and an Acoustic Guitar? I have been trying to figure this out, but nothing is available?

It depends on the string gauge, scale length etc etc etc

What is the specific question? I.e. the reason for needing to know?

It's not just string gauge...the inner core has the most important effect on tension. A Dean Markley .046 has more tension than a D'Addario .046 because Dean Markley uses a thicker inner core despite the overall gauge being the same size.
