This may be of interest to you guys....I've been playing on http://www.jamstudio.com for a while now, which allows you to make your own music online and (the best part) FOR FREE. You can enter chord progressions and some instruments, click play and it goes.
The best part for me is this: I'm not in a band or anything, and I have a hard time writing lyrics. JamStudio.com really helps with both because I can just loop it to work on lyrics, or develop a whole song with instruments and everything and play along with it. It's perfect for me.
