Other than play my Esė (My Les Paul) so much recently, and getting some serious chops! I have finally ordered my Warmoth Strat, with EVERYTHING I need, it is going to be AWESOME! I am going to have my cousin finish it Baby Blue. It has:
Swamp Ash Body (Old Fender's had 'em, wanted to go that way) Boat Neck Jumbo Frets Lefty Tremolo Maple. Gotoh Tuners (Vintage).
TOO MUCH TO LIST! Will get you pictures as soon as it all arrives in a BIG Box. Maybe my Les Paul will get some Love soon on this site?

EXCELLENT!!!.... if you are new to jumbo frets, there is a little learning curve, once you are used to them you will always want them!!

Dave, I've always liked larger fret wire, I think I get a more positive feel with my chords and better finger vibrato and truer tone more pure tone. I think they help in cleaner playing over fast passages.

Depending on the setup, big frets are easier to fret.
A downside is, that if you fret as hard as you used to with smaller fretwire, you'll push the note sharp.
I LOVE large fretwire. Most old guitars have very small fretwire, and that makes them more challenging to play.
As far as frets go.........GO BIG OR STAY HOME!

Hey, I am used to those Frets on Gibson LP's, so not a hugeee learning curve. Can't wait! They also had even bigger Jumbo's, something told me I should have gotten those, but, I know it would have killed me. And, I will get pictures of the WHOLE process. And, I don't Fret Hard so I will be good! Now I just gotta wait a longgg time for a nice big box!
Also, those Warmoth Guys are nice, Spike helped me, and even told me not to get some things because I didn't need them, and reduced the price, it cost me like a little under $700 for it, and the finish will cost me the paint ($60 or so bucks) because my cousin will do it for me! Will shop again if this Guitar rocks for Tele's and a Jazz Bass.
