My daughter has a set of electric drums that has been sitting in a corner of the room and are very dusty - we want to get them looking new again, what is the safest way to clean these rubber heads? Sorry to sound ignorant. I am not a musician and have not learned the proper method of maintaining instruments. Just a mom who wants them cleaned safely.

Same way you'd clean a rubber spatula. Gentle dish soap and warm water.
