That's awesome! He's got that rock and roll twinkle in his eye!

Here is one of my wife's nephew when he came and visited us a few months ago. He has Asperger's Syndrome (mild form of autism). He got up and sang a song with us at one of our rehearsals. He was so pumped about that and wanting to learn the guitar, his mom and step dad just bought him a Squier Strat a few weeks back! Another rocker in the family!

I told Abbey to pick up my guitar so I could take a pic. She tried a few times and then gave me this look:

Hey Zan your son has to feel like the cat's pajamas playing through that Orange TT.. Damn, if I could have played through an amp like that when I was his age.

MP, she must totally rock that thing, considering she even plays with a broken arm! (ouch! hope she is healing up well!)

LOL! Yeah, she took a tumble and broke it a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure it won't be my last trip to the emergency room...

he loves it, it took me long enough to get a killer amp.
i am glad he gets to play through something that doesn't suck. it is very inspiring.

Well I had originally decided against posting this but seeing as there`s a place where it would be appreciated-here is a daughter of one of my cousins, she is really talented and a genuinely nice person, even better. She is on her way to a first prize in jazz dance, second prize overall at a dance competition. Sorry about the music, not really my thing either but:

Thanks so much Lee-
I had about the same reaction. I knew she was into dance but
not THAT into dance. Definitely the deep end of the family talent pool.

This is actually a couple of years old, but the producer's ears are developing:

My son on...

Les Paul: "Oh, this sounds like SpongeBob music!"

Steely Dan, Haitian Divorce: "I like the part where it sounds like a duck!"

LOL!! I can relate sometimes. I always say that I wouldn't trade mine for anything...but I'd sell 'em cheap!! Seriously tho, kids are the best thing to ever happen to me, especially when I have them with such a wonderful wife!

here's my prized possesion. my 6 month old daughter Audrey. she's too young to pose with a guitar but i'm hoping she'll take interest in guitars. she already taken a liking to blues music. when she throws a tantrum i usually play the crossroads guitar festival dvd and it soothes her to sleep. either she finds it calming or she finds it boring. i'm hoping it's the former.LOL
