Hi everyone, Ive just started teaching myself guitar on an old (bashed-up) acoustic, and i realised that I should probably get something a bit better. I found this website - http://www.normans.co.uk - where they are selling Stagg LP copies for half price-ish(£70). There is the L320 and the L350, but they both cost the same. The details on the website are the same for each model, so which one should I get? I would choose the bigger number but I dont know...

Hi Mark - welcome!!
Judging by the spelling and pathetic typing in those adverts I probably wouldn't buy anything from that lot.
Having said that, *providing* a Stagg is set up professionally, it should be good at the price providing you realise that this is a cheap starter guitar made from inferior materials.
Personally (and I actually *have* done this) I'd find a decent used Squier Standard Tele on Ebay and have it set up properly.
Looking at the 320 & the 350 adverts, there doesn't seem to be any difference in the specs, so I recommend the Cherry Burst.

I'm having trouble navigating their site, which would have already discouraged me from buying there. But you're closer to the source than I am, so make your own judgment on that.
But there have been a lot of very flattering "reviews" of the Agile Strats by people here at the Forum. I realize that you'd have to have them shipped from the USA to UK and customs and all that. But at $100USD, they're pretty cheap and pretty good from what's been written here.
Just a thought. Here's the link to their only retail distributor... Agile at Rhondo Music
OOopsss... I misread the "Stagg" for "Strat". But Agile does have LP clones as well, slightly more money of course.
