hi Ethan, would it be as effective if we put another plywood on the wallside of a paneltrap to seal it instead of installing it directly on the wall, so if i ever move my studio, i can bring them easy without letting the wall full of caulk...

Hi Franky

I asked this very same question recently - the answer is yes, and the back panel needs to be at least 3/4" thick.
