Well, yes, but the purpose of this topic is not to discuss the corporate structure of GC/MF/WWBW/Music123 conglomerate.
MusiciansFriend has a special Stupid Deal of the Day, it changes every day (duh!), and sometimes it is a product that my be useful to a bass player. Sometimes it's software, sometimes it's the same Telecaster they have been trying to unload for three months. I don't want this to become a thread to monitor the deals... you can bookmark the deal link and watch it youself if you're really interested. I watch the deal, I have noticed posts by other users who watch the deal, so I thought it might be cool to make a thread to share relevant deals.
I suppose other good deals can be posted too... that's cool.

Well, I jumped on the deal for 2 sets of Marcus Miller strings and a MM dvd for $30. THAT was a good deal. I haven't tried the strings yet, but the dvd is great. (well, dvd 1 is great, dvd 2 is mostly a documentary about how wonderful Marcus is).

I bought the same thing as well last month. I haven't used the Fatbeams yet, but have watched the dvd a few times.

I should have posted yesterday- it was a MF bass gig bag for $9.99. I picked up two for my project bass and an old bass in a chipboard case. Add in the new strings I need for next month's studio time, and I just made the free shipping minimum!

I was pretty tempted. Like a need another bass.
It might be nice to have a bass around the house for students to play who walk or take the bus here for lessons.
I think I should start with something grubby, not a new bass.

Nearly forgot to look today... anyone need a $99 Dean bass?
I played one of those for a gig once. The whole evening was a fund raiser for a local musician who had big medical bills and no insurance. One of the auction items that night was "win Late September Dogs bass". It wasn't horrible. I seem to recall we sold $200 in raffle tickets for the $100 bass. Not bad.
